Ensemble VIDA: The Little Prince Meets YOU - Storytelling Concert

What truly matters is invisible..."

"The Little Prince Meets YOU" is an approximately 80-minute storytelling concert: actress Jana Kühn narrates interactively while four musicians - violin, cello, piano and saxophone - bring a new composition by Peter Leipold to life. In the interplay of music and spoken word, reality and fiction meet, Saint-Exupéry's world and the audience.

Ensemble VIDA works with interactive concert formats in which original compositions and spoken word alternate. The line-up - saxophone, violin, cello, piano and voice - is deliberately unconventional; since the composer is himself part of the ensemble, musical idea and interpretation merge as a shared process. The ensemble became known through the concert series "Klingendes Gut" in rural areas, supported by NDR Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. A further project was realised in collaboration with a children's theatre publisher, based on Michael Ende's "MOMO".
