Mäc Härder - "Leben beginnt, wenn Hund tot und Kinder aus dem Haus"
Convenartis Kleinkunstverein, Wertheim, Germany
25.5 €
The title of Mäc Härder's new cabaret show says it all: "Leben beginnt, wenn Hund tot und Kinder aus dem Haus" - Life begins when the dog is dead and the kids have moved out. Finally, time to yourself again. Finally, the house is yours. No more hiding the beer and red wine when the TV's on, no more booking holidays around school breaks. Freedom at last.
And with that come new questions: Naples or Nepal? Bayreuth or Beirut? Cross the Alps on foot, by bike, or on an elephant? Go to a classical concert or a heavy metal festival? Or just sink into the rocking chair and drift off into your own world? Either way, there's time for a good book and the house is quiet. Well, sometimes a little too quiet. And it's a bit annoying that nobody fixes your computer and phone problems anymore. But one thing is certain: the party can start now. The sparkling wine is already chilling.
With fizzy lightness, Mäc Härder navigates his new cosmos - a new world of freedom and independence. He also brings along a few Franconian specialties, so the audience can look forward to a cheerful, entertaining evening.
True to his motto:
What the doctor is to the sick,
Mäc Härder is to the Franconians.
