Bavarian band Dreiviertelblut releases their fifth studio album "Prost Ewigkeit" on May 16, 2025, with a major live premiere scheduled for May 20, 2025 at Munich's Circus Krone.

Since the band's formation in 2012 by film composer Gerd Baumann and vocalist Sebastian Horn, Dreiviertelblut has established itself as one of the most distinctive voices in the German-language music scene. Their debut album "Lieder vom Unterholz" made a significant impact with critics and fans alike - their biggest hit to date, "Deifedanz" from that record, has achieved cult status. Their profound, poetic lyrics in the Bavarian dialect combined with genre-defying arrangements give each of their albums a unique, unmistakable character.

"Prost Ewigkeit" is no exception: the new songs take listeners on a journey through the highs and lows of human existence. They explore love, pain, happiness, intoxication, loss, wisdom, foolishness, and the eternal search - culminating in a journey to the moon. Dreiviertelblut, traditionally associated with a deep Bavarian darkness, strike a hopeful tone with these new compositions. In response to times marked by crisis, the band meets the moment with its characteristic lightness, from which emerges a realization: that in togetherness we find security, and in existence we find beauty. Because nothing lasts and nothing ends, because everything is nothing and everything matters, they raise a toast to eternity.
