A FINE SUMMER NIGHT
The 3rd Picnic Concert with the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra
Following the overwhelming success of previous years, Monheimer Kulturwerke is hosting the third edition of this special summer evening. What began in August 2024 as the largest classical event in the city's history - a musical introduction between the orchestra and the local community - has since grown into a cherished tradition. The Kyiv Symphony Orchestra has made itself at home in Monheim am Rhein and looks forward to celebrating that bond through music once again.
The programme masterfully bridges two worlds: beloved masterworks of the classical repertoire sit alongside Ukrainian cultural gems that remain little known to German audiences.
Enjoy the music in a relaxed setting: bring your own food and drinks and settle on a picnic blanket, or take a seat in the comfortable chair section. On-site catering will also be available.
A note for a smooth evening: to ensure unobstructed views and safety for all guests, garden furniture, barbecues, parasols, and glass bottles are not permitted on the concert grounds.
