Pyracanda + Sacrosanct - Oldschool Metal Meets Progressive Power

PYRACANDA

Founded in 1987, PYRACANDA ranks among the defining German metal bands of the early 90s. Their debut "Two Sides Of A Coin" (1990) and follow-up "Thorns" (1992) established their signature sound: powerful speed and heavy metal with strong melodies, NWOBHM influences, and progressive elements.

After a decade-long hiatus, the band returned in 2020 and released "Losing Faith" in 2024. The album was composed and recorded entirely in the old-school manner - no triggers or drum computers. A new edition arrives in 2025 featuring a duet with Peavy Wagner (Rage) on the track "Hellfire".

SACROSANCT

SACROSANCT were founded in 1988 and continue to enjoy cult status in the progressive and thrash metal scene. Their early albums "Truth Is - What Is", "Recesses For The Depraved", and "Tragic Intense" are regarded as genre milestones.

After a 25-year break, the band returned in 2018 with "Necropolis". In 2025 comes "Kidron", a new album blending complex structures with accessibility. With vocalist Max Morton - known for his work with Jinjer - melancholic harmonies, progressive arrangements, and intense lyrics converge.
