Martin Turner plays the classics of Wishbone Ash - "The Two Eras Tour"
A special treat for fans of classic guitar-driven rock: Martin Turner, founding member of Wishbone Ash, returns to the stage in 2026 with his band, bringing the great songs of a legendary era to Soundcheck One in Waldbronn.
In 1969, Martin Turner co-founded Wishbone Ash with Steve Upton in London. The band's revolutionary twin-lead guitar sound - played by Ted Turner and Andy Powell - forged a distinctive style that left a lasting mark on rock history. Millions of albums sold, sold-out shows worldwide, and a lasting influence on countless bands made Wishbone Ash a byword for melodic, guitar-driven rock at its finest.
As lead vocalist, bassist, and creative driving force, Martin Turner shaped the band's most celebrated albums through his distinctive voice, songwriting, and sharp melodic instinct.
