The Original Golden Voices of Gospel

This November, "The Golden Voices of Gospel" bring a powerful musical evening to Erdmannhausen on 7 November 2026.

Many audiences know "The Golden Voices of Gospel" from major TV shows. Their music has moved people around the world for many years. From Vienna and Budapest to Florence, Rome and Bucharest, their international touring has won them fans across the globe. In Germany they made a particular splash as the backing choir for the "King of Pop" Michael Jackson on the TV show "Wetten Dass...?".

That appearance, along with many other television credits in recent years, made the group a household name - and their "singing priest", Reverend Dwight Robson, a star of the gospel scene. The choir's repertoire moves between deeply felt, melancholic spirituals and irresistibly energetic gospel numbers that get right under your skin.

The powerful voices are backed by a tight rhythm section. At heart, though, these are church songs - the kind sung at services in the Black Churches of the United States and the Caribbean. "This show isn't just for gospel fans," says Mayor Marcus Kohler. "Seeing them on Florian Silbereisen's TV show already tells you they're in a league of their own - but catching this group live on stage is a privilege you really shouldn't miss!"
