Following the enormous success of Eisi Gulp's comeback show "Tagebuch eines Komikers 1" - which has been selling out venues across the German-speaking world since 2024 - "Papa Eberhofer" returns with the sequel. In his characteristically entertaining style, he recounts how his youth and teenage years unfolded, both professionally and personally.

Most people know Eisi Gulp as the on-screen father of detective Franz Eberhofer from the nearly ten Eberhofer crime film adaptations. Since 2015 he has appeared in "Dahoam is Dahoam", and he has roles in countless other films and TV series. He first came to wider attention in the early 1980s through the BR show "Live aus dem Alabama".

After years working primarily as a film and theatre actor - which brought him considerable fame - he returned to the stand-up stage in 2024 after a long absence and won over fans well beyond Bavaria and Germany. Eisi is a versatile comedian whose physical expressiveness matches his wit: he juggles wordplay, facial expressions and movement with ease while spinning entertaining anecdotes from his own life. Werner Eisenrieder, as he is known off stage, is not only an actor and comedian - he also studied dance in New York and acrobatics and stunt work in Paris.
