A versatile performer and the true inventor of Bavarian musical cabaret - Fredl Fesl! Whenever he sang about "Fensterln" at Liesl's or the "Moritat of Knight Hadubrand" and accompanied himself on guitar, he had the audience laughing in the palm of his hand. For 30 years, Bavarian songwriter Fredl Fesl performed on stage. Beyond his satirical and witty song lyrics, his trademark became the minute-long, ironic introductions.

In Upper Franconia's Hof an der Saale, there lives a musician who commands the Lower Bavarian dialect like no other and knows these songs better than anyone - he has been listening to them on cassettes and vinyl records since he was fifteen. Musician, lyricist, entertainer, and radio host Gery Gerspitzer brings the mastery of this legend back to Bavarian stages in his new solo programme, the "Fredl Fesl Evening", letting his rich repertoire ring out authentically. Gery Gerspitzer has assembled a best-of programme that is second to none. Since March 2018, he has been touring successfully with his "Fredl Fesl Evening", delivering evenings full of laughter and memorable moments. Whether it's the "Football Song", "The Song of Intoxication", or the "Royal Yodel" - he has them all in his repertoire.
