The Phantom of Gelnhausen [Crime-Comedy-Improv-Dinner]
Ristorante Zum Paradies, Gelnhausen, Germany
An open-air summer event on a covered terrace - if the weather turns, the show moves indoors to the restaurant.
The annual congress of master thieves is here, complete with the award ceremony for the "Rose of Shanghai" - given to the most innovative burglary tool of the year. The nominees: the Police Remote Control, the Thirty-Second Juice, and the Thousand-Door Cloth. Arsene Lupin, John Ruby the Cat, Mr. Goldfinger and a host of other illustrious names take the stage or mingle with the audience - until presenter Sir Charles Henry Bredford vanishes without a trace during an experiment, and the Rose vanishes with him. A cryptic message appears: the trophy must be found within two hours, or it is gone forever.
The master thieves leap into action. Who stole the Rose, who is the Shadow Man - and what secret does the trophy actually hold? The audience is drawn into the plot; improv performers, live-staged illusions and a twisting crime story do the rest.
Important note on costs: A 3-course dinner is mandatory for the evening (choice of 3 main courses: meat, fish, or veggie), starting at 39 €. Total cost per person is therefore from 78 € (ticket 39 € + dinner from 39 €), plus drinks ordered individually.
