The Electric Sublime - An Evening of Film & Music Inspired by the World of David Lynch

E-WERK Luckenwalde invites you to The Electric Sublime, an evening of film and live music dedicated to the work of American filmmaker David Lynch. The event takes place alongside the exhibition ELECTRICITY, conceived by artist Asad Raza.

At the heart of the evening is a motif that runs through many of Lynch's works: electricity - as a visible force, as an atmospheric element, and as a mysterious energy beneath the surface. Selected films will be screened; the evening opens with an introduction featuring personal perspectives from his longtime team on his working methods and artistic approach.

Between screenings, international musicians and artists present live intermezzos that translate the moods and themes of the films into sound, rhythm, and presence. All films are shown with German subtitles.

A year after Lynch's death, The Electric Sublime stands as a tribute - and an opportunity to watch his films together anew.
