Jördis Tielsch

Jördis Tielsch is not only an outstanding singer-songwriter with a captivating voice, but also a brilliant violinist and multi-instrumentalist. She is a multiple award-winner at "Jugend musiziert" and recently received the emerging songwriter prize 24/25 from the Hanns Seidel Foundation ("Lieder auf Banz").

A concert with Jördis Tielsch is an event filled with musical poetry and warmth. Irish folk and country meet German acoustic pop-rock. Several stays in the USA and Ireland shaped her songwriting style, in which the violin is indispensable. Her phenomenal stage presence, virtuosity on numerous instruments, and unique devotion to every note played and every word sung - combined with the rare gift of enchanting the audience from the first tone - takes listeners on a musical journey of comfort and well-being.

In her current programme "Bring mich zurück", Jördis Tielsch presents Irish traditional fiddle pieces, carefully selected covers, and her own songs in English and German. The lyrics demonstrate that Jördis Tielsch is also a brilliant songwriter.

On her current tour she is supported by German-American guitarist and singer Ian Alexander Griffiths, who has already accompanied Patricia Kelly on tour.
