Literary Summer 2026
A literary evening at the Industriemuseum Freudenthaler Sensenhammer in Leverkusen, set against the backdrop of a historic industrial venue.
Leverkusen, Germany
The Freudenthaler Sensenhammer in Leverkusen is an industrial museum housed in a former scythe forge whose roots go back to the 17th century. The preserved machinery and water-powered hammer works give a vivid picture of early metal craftsmanship in the Bergisches Land region. The site regularly hosts guided tours, craft demonstrations, and cultural events.
