Description was written before the event

"Fretboard Fusion" brings together two internationally award-winning guitarists: Oliver Jungbauer and Mark Leighton explore the boundaries of their instrument together - stylistic divisions included.

The programme features new original compositions by the duo, arrangements of well-known songs, and melodies from the classical repertoire reinterpreted for guitar. Vorarlberger Nachrichten wrote in March 2026: "[…] demonstrated how broadly the concept of crossover can be understood when executed as beautifully as it is here."
