On 13 September 2026 at 17:00, the group Bernstein presents their programme "...It's Sad, But True..." in the hall of Palais Zabeltitz - moritaten and songs that were once sung during kitchen work. They mostly revolve around lost love and the tragic fate of young girls, which often ends in death. Because these songs have become folk songs, they invite you to sing along - even when it comes to wine.

Whether "Sabinchen, das Frauenzimmer" brings tears or eerie robber tales give you goosebumps: the group Bernstein performs everything in historically accurate, colourful costumes - with a wink.
