Zabeltitz, Germany
Palais Zabeltitz is a baroque palace in the small Saxon town of Zabeltitz, built in the 18th century as a summer residence for the Saxon court. The surrounding formal garden, one of the best-preserved baroque park landscapes in Saxony, is open to the public. The palace and its grounds regularly host open-air concerts, festivals and cultural events.
A concert by the piano duo Konstanze Hollitzer and Christian Hornef performing four-hand piano works by 19th-century composers, including pieces by Fanny Hensel, Mendelssohn and Schubert.
Trio Glissando brings together harp, flute and trombone in a rare chamber combination. Principal harpist Emilie Jaulmes and her partners perform Bach, Smetana and Gershwin at Altes Schloss Zabeltitz.
