Erich Kästner's "The Thirteen Months" Set to Music - Zabeltitz Palace Concert — Palais Zabeltitz, Zabeltitz

Concert as part of the "Zabeltitz Palace Concerts" featuring poems, texts, and anecdotes by and about Erich Kästner.

A city dweller wrote for city dwellers "The Thirteen Months" - Erich Kästner's poems set to music by Norbert Fietzke.

"Time passes and endures, and both happen in a single breath." (In Erich Kästner's own words).

This cycle of poems, originally commissioned by the Swiss magazine "Schweizer Illustrierte" in Zurich, will now be performed in musical arrangement by the duo 'con emozione'. It is Erich Kästner's final poetry collection, guiding us through the seasons and revealing the time we have - or do not have. In all its dimensions and diversity.

The duo 'con emozione' consists of Liane Fietzke (vocals/recitation/narration) and Norbert Fietzke (piano). Both studied at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" Academy of Music in Leipzig. The duo lives and works in Havelland.
