Bach in Dialogue - Rethinking the Well-Tempered Clavier

The Well-Tempered Clavier in dialogue with Bach's chorales, arias, and cantatas: Swedish-Ukrainian pianist Natalya Pasichnyk draws connections between Bach's vocal works and his purely instrumental cycle, transforming the 48 pieces into a coherent narrative. Together with the Calmus Ensemble Leipzig, she unfolds these interpretations sonically - voice and piano enter into dialogue, language and sound interweave into a spiritual narrative about human existence and Bach's vision of music as a path to spiritual renewal.
