From Court Music to Salon Dreams - Open-Air Concert with Zeitklang Ensemble Berlin - Märkisches Hofkonzert

On 29 August 2026 at 4 pm, Zeitklang Ensemble Berlin performs an open-air concert at Märkischer Hof Päwesin alongside soprano Dana Hoffmann. The programme spans baroque court music, salon sounds from operetta and tango, and film and world music - played by flute, string trio, accordion and voice.

Dana Hoffmann studied concert singing and music theatre at the Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" Berlin, studying under Renate Faltin, Carola Höhn and Deborah York, among others. As a soprano she performs masses and oratorios from Monteverdi to Orff at the Konzerthaus, the Berliner Philharmonie and the rbb-Sendesaal. Since 2023 she has taught singing in the C-Seminar at UdK Berlin, and since 2019 she has performed with Vocalconsort Berlin at the Komische Oper and at international festivals. In the 2026/27 season she will also appear at the Deutsche Oper in "Nurejew".

The ensemble performs in flexible line-ups ranging from trio to sextet and is known for its own arrangements, presenting compositions from baroque, tango nuevo, salon, film and world music in fresh instrumentation.
