From Court Music to Salon Dreams - Open-Air Concert with Zeitklang Ensemble Berlin and Soprano Dana Hoffmann

On August 29, 2026, Märkischer Hof Päwesin invites you at 4:00 PM to a summer concert under the open sky. Zeitklang Ensemble Berlin presents a diverse programme ranging from Baroque court music to stylish sounds of operetta and tango. The ensemble is supported by soprano Dana Hoffmann.

In an unusual instrumentation featuring flute, string trio, accordion, and voice, delicate timbres unfold alongside fresh perspectives on both familiar and rediscovered music. A musical afternoon that unites history and lightness in a special atmosphere.

Dana Hoffmann
Dana Hoffmann studied concert singing and musical theatre at the Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" Berlin and was shaped by Renate Faltin, Carola Höhn, and Deborah York, among others. As a soprano, she performs masses and oratorios from Monteverdi to Orff at the Konzerthaus, Berlin Philharmonie, and rbb broadcast hall. Since 2023, she teaches voice at the C-Seminar at UdK Berlin. Since 2019, she has collaborated with Vocalconsort Berlin at the Komische Oper and at international festivals, and in the 2026/27 season will also be heard at the Deutsche Oper in "Nureyev".

Classical musicians from Berlin present a programme that defies genre classification. It ranges from Baroque trio sonata to Tango Nuevo, from salon, film, to world music. The ensemble performs in variable configurations from trio to sextet. Core instruments are flute, viola, and accordion, complemented by violin, cello, and voice. A particular strength of the ensemble is its own arrangements.
