Comedy Evening with the Gscheidles - Swabian Cabaret Up Close!

Alois and Elsbeth Gscheidle are a Swabian cabaret couple who have been performing on stages in Baden-Württemberg for many years and regularly appear on ARD and SWR television.

Behind the two characters are Marcus Neuweiler (Schöntal) as Alois - he enjoys slipping into various costumes, roles, and dialects - and Birgit Pfeiffer (Fellbach-Schmiden) as the thoroughly dominant, convincing, and wheat-beer-thirsty Elsbeth.

The Gscheidles stage their Swabian everyday scenes close to the audience, sometimes directly with them. Their strength lies in spontaneity and improvisation: this surprises not only the audience but occasionally themselves as well - which is why no evening is quite like another.
