Kranich-Ticket - Evening Walk to the Crane Roost

A guided walk to watch the evening flight of cranes heading to their roosting sites.

Every year, thousands of cranes gather in the Müritz region before migrating to their winter quarters. The air fills with loud trumpeting calls, and as dusk falls the "birds of luck" move in large and small flocks to their overnight roosts.

The route covers around 4 km. Make your own way to Nationalpark-Information Federow. Please wear muted, dark clothing. Dogs cannot take part in the tour. Photography opportunities are limited.
