READING: Rivals - The Effect of Hating You

Alexandra Flint reads from her novel "Rivals - The Effect of Hating You" at Hugendubel bookstore Leipzig Petersstraße. Moderated by Theresa Haubs (@bookslove128).

Dakota never wanted anything to do with Beckett Atticus - the youngest casino heir in Las Vegas history and the man she holds responsible for her family's ruin. But her debts to the acrobatic ensemble leave her no choice: she must agree to perform at his casino's reopening show and train there. Beckett, for his part, suspects Dakota's family of involvement in his father's death. What binds them at first is only mutual hatred - until beneath the anger stirs a desire neither of them thought possible.

In the heart of show business, where truth becomes illusion and danger becomes deadly reality, Dakota and Beckett are caught in a whirlwind of mistrust and attraction.
