"Doors shut and 3 hours of pure fun with family or friends" - that's how Erwin Machulke, the caretaker of RUHRICAL, welcomed the audience. And he kept his word: RUHRICAL brings together pop, rock, musical theatre and Schlager in one rousing show, telling the stories of the Ruhr region in all its variety - authentic, passionate and full of humour. For nearly three hours, the audience lived through the emotions, creativity and warmth of the Revier - a direct line to the heart of the Ruhr and its people.

Stunning dance choreography and the anthemic "Gluck auf, der Steiger kommt" in a staging that blends the region's heritage with its modern energy: realistic animations take the audience 1,000 metres underground to experience the magic of the Ruhr up close. Whether it's Cranger Kirmes, a stadium visit or an afternoon with friends at the allotment - the Ruhrpott came alive at Mondpalast like never before.
