Alena Schröder reads from her novel "Mein ganzes Leben, Öl auf Leinwand, ohne Titel" at the Digital Garden in Schwerin.

The book unfolds across two timelines, tracing the lives of two women connected by an unremarkable canvas. At its heart is the question of what we owe our parents - and what legacy they leave behind.
