Shakespeare's sonnets possess a singular magic. Captivated by them, the distinguished actress and ensemble member of Vienna's Burgtheater Birgit Minichmayr and pianist-composer Bernd Lhotzky joined forces to transform selected sonnets into sound, to comment upon them, and to elevate them to a new interpretive plane. They are supported by Quadro Nuevo, the adventurous and fabulous ensemble around saxophonist Mulo Francel. A remarkable evening!
