Theater AG of the Gymnasium am Romäusring Villingen presents: Am Ende aller Tage
Das Sandkorn Theater & Mehr gGmbH, Karlsruhe, Germany
Two children arrive at a saving island, utterly exhausted. Piece by piece, we learn what drove them there: a father who sacrificed his family for his career; a mother who rid herself of that man; a sister who plotted revenge; and a brother who, after a cruel act, descended into madness.
What a family! And yet family is supposed to be a place of the greatest safety, boundless trust, and unconditional love. But does what parents do with good intentions actually benefit their children? And don't children, in their drive for freedom and self-fulfilment, also hurt their parents?
It's an old story, and we tell it again. Come along - away from the abyss of this family, toward an island that perhaps promises rescue, even when all hope has been spent: am Ende aller Tage.
An original production by the Theater-AG
Duration: approx. 75 min, no interval
Director: Rico Knothe
