Samora Pinderhughes feat. Elena Pinderhughes

The work of composer, pianist, filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist Samora Pinderhughes is known for its striking intimacy and carefully crafted, radically honest lyrics. He weaves his own high-calibre compositions together with incisive imagery, and at their intersection the work consistently engages with socio-political themes. He places himself in the tradition of Black surrealists who bend words, sounds and images in the service of revolution.

Samora has demonstrated this through countless collaborations - among others with Robert Glasper, Karriem Riggins and Common as 'August Greene', Burniss Travis, and Christian Scott.

He comes to Enjoy Jazz with his sister, singer and flautist Elena Pinderhughes.
