A musical comedy about the seriousness of life
Premiere: Saturday, 26 October 2024. Duration: approximately 1 hour 50 minutes (including intermission after approximately 55 minutes)
What do a 66-year-old widowed misanthrope who finally wants to leave his career as a psychotherapist and a young medical assistant with literary ambitions and constant emotional instability have in common? 100 days. Dr. Magnus Schreiber counts down the days until his long-awaited retirement; Nelly Montagu gives herself the same timeframe to transform into a self-assured, successful, and happy woman. Because they meet daily, roles are reversed, dreams are put into perspective, and social clichés are dismantled with merciless humour - while a growing queue of desperate patients waits for admission.
