KUBAA slam

Poetry Slam is a format that has existed in Germany for over 30 years - and in Aalen it has long been an established institution. Moderator Johannes Elster welcomes five slam poets from the German-speaking region to a literary competition. The rules are clear: only self-written texts, maximum six minutes per performance, no props.

The slammers bring stories and poems, stand-up, social commentary, poetic and raw pieces to the stage. The audience decides who advances to the final and wins the KUBAA slam.
