Spa Park Tour "What's Blooming Here?"

The spa park is the heart of Bad Bevensen. Stretching along the river Ilmenau, it covers around 18 hectares and wraps around the spa centre. It was never designed from scratch as a formal park - it grew organically and retains a largely natural character. The expansive green space with its old trees connects the historic old town to the west with the spa quarter, then opens out into the floodplain meadows along the Ilmenau.

Head gardener Christiane Wittkowski will guide botanically curious visitors through the spa park of Bad Bevensen. She will talk about the park's diverse plant life and trace how this green space has evolved over the decades.
