Annas Herzstück (open-air theatre)
Burgbühne s´freche hus, Oberkirch, Germany
16 €
A story by Jürgen von Bülow about the joy of life, cunning and passion - set in the heart of the Black Forest. Staged by Burgbühne Oberkirch.
With humour, warmth and a generous pour of spirits, Burgbühne Oberkirch tells the story of Anna during the Heimattage festival. Caught between duty, love and the right to distil her own schnapps, Anna has to carve out a path of her own.
Anna is certain she will one day marry the handsome Heinrich. But first she is determined to win the prize for the best home-distilled schnapps at the Renchtal-Fest. Everything goes to plan until Nepomuk, the new customs officer from Lörrach, shows up and throws everything into disarray.
"Annas Herzstück" is a story about the joy of life, cunning and passion - straight from real life.
Director: Rob Dornboos.
