Katie Kento has been writing since the age of nine. After a bachelor's degree in cultural studies with a focus on literature and media, she completed a master's in Integrated Media and went on to work at a Hamburg publishing house. She now lives and writes in Oldenburg. "Missing Page" is her second standalone YA crime novel, following the bestseller "Hotel Ambrosia" - and in May 2026 it debuted straight at number 1 on the SPIEGEL youth book bestseller list.
