Rossini in Wildbaden: Occasione - The Occasion Makes the Thief 2 takes place on Tuesday, 28 July 2026 at 20:00 at Königliches Kurtheater Bad Wildbad. The opera opens with a dramatic thunderstorm scene at an inn, where the resourceful Parmenione swaps suitcases with a traveler, unleashing a cascade of mistaken identities and false pretences. Königliches Kurtheater is a historic spa theatre from the late 19th century, built for royal guests of this Black Forest resort, and now serves as the main stage of the Rossini in Wildbad festival.
