MISCHN imPOSSIBLE - Two Idiots in a Duo

Our previous successful long-distance trips - including film shoots aboard East German vehicles like Simson mopeds, Trabant and Wartburg - proved to us that this rattling Eastern Bloc technology was perfectly capable of leaving the old GDR borders far behind in the rear-view mirror. The dream of the "capitalist abroad", which our parents were never allowed to pursue before 1989, came within reach for us in just a few days. Despite all the Covid complications.

7,000 km from Dresden to Portugal on three wheels - a plan that left our parents and friends shaking their heads at the sight of the vehicle. After a quick purchase and several days of converting a motorised wheelchair, we set off westward on the evening of 21 June. No test drive, loaded up with surfboards, three pairs of underpants, ten litres of two-stroke oil, a spare fuel canister and (as always) no tent - we headed out on the first leg of our journey to the Atlantic.
