The Instant Voodoo Kit - "We bring the fun..."

The Instant Voodoo Kit from Würzburg blends gypsy swing, jazz, punk and cabaret into a show that is as bizarre as it is compelling. With up to eight musicians on stage, brass instruments, banjo, violin and plenty of makeup, they create performances that blur the line between carnival, vaudeville and New Orleans funeral processions.

The band moves somewhere between wild swing, poetic madness and dark humor. Their concerts are less a classical performance than a small circus of music, stories and characters - sometimes raucous, sometimes melancholic, always with a wink and a grin.
