The Ugly Duckling - Puppet Theatre

A puppet theatre production of "The Ugly Duckling" for children aged 4 and up - a story full of disappointments and profound transformation.

It is summer, and a duck mother is brooding her eggs. Three beautiful ducklings hatch and marvel at the world - but the fourth looks completely different. The farm animals laugh at it, mock it, and peck at it, until it decides to venture alone into the wide world. Everywhere it meets with hostility and wanders from one disappointment to the next. After a bleak autumn comes a harsh winter, despair grows - only the children in the audience stand by its side.

Then spring arrives and a great surprise awaits.
