"On Her Majesty's Secret Service" - a cappella from Byrd and Tallis to Chilcott and Billie Eilish

The Queen's Six from Windsor Castle sing daily in St George's Chapel at His Majesty's pleasure and have earned rapturous acclaim from audiences and critics alike around the world. Their programme "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" traces the musical history of secrecy and betrayal across the centuries. It features pieces from their forthcoming album, Renaissance a cappella music linked to spies at the English royal courts, and brand-new arrangements of James Bond songs - spanning a wide range of musical tastes. Works by Byrd, Tallis, Bob Chilcott and Billie Eilish ("no time to die") are all on the bill.

The professional ensemble was founded in 2008 to mark the 450th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth I. They perform regularly for the Royal Family at both private and state occasions. At the funeral of Prince Philip in April 2021 and the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022, they appeared as part of the St George's Chapel Choir before an audience of over 4 billion television viewers.
