Opening Concert

The opening concert on 26 July at 5 p.m. is shaped by Johannes Götz together with pianist and church choir director of St. Peter and St. Märgen, Lambert Bumiller. Although Götz already gave his designated farewell concert as district cantor back in May, he now takes one final official opportunity to say goodbye to "his" organ music audience.

Götz and Bumiller share a friendship spanning decades, and that bond will be audible in the natural interplay between grand piano and organ. The two musicians have put together a compelling programme featuring works by Bach, Schumann, Liszt, and Karg-Elert.
