The fifth instalment of the International Organ Concerts series brings Thomas Ospital from Paris to St. Peter on 23 August at 17:00 - returning after previous appearances there in 2017, 2019 and 2024.

Ospital holds the position of titulaire at the church of Saint-Eustache in Paris, is a multiple laureate of the Grand Prix de Chartres, and teaches at the Paris Conservatoire CNSMDP. The programme features works by Rachmaninoff, Ravel and Saint-Saëns, alongside improvisations.

About: Thomas Ospital

Thomas Ospital is a French organist and titulaire of the church of Saint-Eustache in Paris. He has won the Grand Prix de Chartres multiple times and teaches at the Paris Conservatoire CNSMDP. Alongside his classical repertoire, he is widely admired for his improvisational skills.

St. Peter's Baroque church in the Black Forest village of St. Peter is one of the finest sacred buildings in southwest Germany. Built between 1727 and 1727 by the master architect Peter Thumb for the Benedictine abbey, its twin-towered facade and richly decorated interior - including ceiling frescoes by Franz Joseph Spiegler - draw visitors and concert audiences alike. The church regularly hosts organ concerts and classical music events.
