Thomas Ospital returns to Barockkirche St. Peter in St. Peter on Sunday, 23 August 2026 at 17:00 for the fifth concert in the International Organ Concerts series. The Paris-based organist, Grand Prix de Chartres laureate and CNSMDP professor, has performed in this Baroque church in the Black Forest before-his return brings a programme featuring Rachmaninoff, Ravel, and Saint-Saëns alongside his own improvisations. This is one of two German dates for the artist this season. Admission: 14 €.

About the venue: Barockkirche St. Peter

St. Peter's Baroque church in the Black Forest village of St. Peter is one of the finest sacred buildings in southwest Germany. Built between 1727 and 1727 by the master architect Peter Thumb for the Benedictine abbey, its twin-towered facade and richly decorated interior - including ceiling frescoes by Franz Joseph Spiegler - draw visitors and concert audiences alike. The church regularly hosts organ concerts and classical music events.
