Food for Thoughts - The LCB Guests' Banquet in July

July brings the Wannsee into focus, and with summer come new guests to the LCB. Munich-based writer Sophia Klink has brought her novel debut "Kurilensee" (Frankfurter Verlagsanstalt, 2025). Rober Koptaş is a Turkish-Armenian journalist and writer; his novel debut "Unufak" was published in 2024. Felix Krakau works in theatre. In 2026, his plays "Die Jugend von Orleans" and "Don Karlos (A New Morning)" will be staged in Dresden and Bonn. The plays of Leo Lorena Wyss have won multiple awards and are frequently performed. Vienna-based author Caspar-Maria Russo published his novel debut "Prinzip Ungefähr" with Residenz in 2025. Ana Tcheishvili lives in Leipzig and writes in German and Georgian. Her poetry collection "Der Tote ist nicht von uns" was published in 2024 by Verlagshaus Berlin. Lawyer Maxim Znak is active in the Belarusian opposition movement. From 2020 to 2025, he was imprisoned in prisons in Minsk and Vitebsk. His collection "Zekamerone" (edition suhrkamp, 2023) was written there.
