Dee Dee Bridgewater is an American jazz singer born in 1950, winner of both Grammy and Tony Awards. She is known for her expressive voice and interpretations of jazz standards, as well as her exploration of African musical influences. Her album „Dear Ella", a tribute to Ella Fitzgerald, is among her most celebrated works.
