Lautten compagney Berlin performs in Hamburg on Wednesday, 9 September 2026 at 20:00 at Elbphilharmonie. The project "Dancing Queen" merges Baroque instruments with ABBA's music, as saxophonist Asya Fateyeva guides listeners between the worlds of Rameau and contemporary pop. This is one of two German dates for the ensemble. Elbphilharmonie, opened in 2017 atop a historic port warehouse in the HafenCity district, draws audiences with its distinctive undulating glass façade. The design by Herzog & de Meuron has become one of Europe's most recognizable concert halls. Tickets cost 45 euros.

About: Asya Fateyeva

Asya Fateyeva is a German saxophonist of Russian origin, known for her work across classical and contemporary repertoire. She studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg and has built a career as a soloist performing with major orchestras and ensembles across Europe. She regularly takes on cross-genre projects that push the saxophone into unexpected musical territory.

About the venue: Elbphilharmonie

The Elbphilharmonie is Hamburg's landmark concert hall, opened in 2017 atop a historic warehouse in the HafenCity district. Designed by Herzog & de Meuron, its wave-shaped glass facade has become one of the most recognizable silhouettes in Germany. The main hall seats around 2,100 and is celebrated for its exceptional acoustics, built around a central "vineyard" layout. It hosts the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester as well as international orchestras, soloists, and jazz acts.
