In their new programme "Firlefanz!" Käthe and Karl-Eugen take aim at modern life - with wordplay, irony and wonderfully chaotic humour. Here the digital age collides with entrenched bureaucracy, Käthe transforms into a Swabian Alexa and steers Karl-Eugen from one marital crisis to the next. Artificial intelligence that might be just a little bit smarter than Karl-Eugen, relationship problems that make even seasoned couples therapists throw in the towel - and a foray into world literature where even Schiller would smile in his grave.

Käthe knows everything as always - instantly, emphatically and without pause. Karl-Eugen of course does too. Theoretically. Eventually. Maybe. He relies on his tried-and-tested mix of excuses, quirky ideas and quiet despair, while she analyzes, philosophizes and comments. The chemistry between them is highly explosive, and the punchlines land.

Things crack in the marital framework, at the parking lot and in front of the fridge - and in the end everything is as it always is: Die Kächeles keep on arguing.
