The adventures of a pig from the lower pigsty

Farmer Kruse keeps three pigsties: lower, middle, and upper.

Josephine lives in the lower pigsty between "eating, wallowing, and sleeping!" - Yet she dreams of a better life. Of being a pig from the middle or even upper pigsty. One night she actually sets out on a journey. She leaves her pigsty and tries her luck. Her rise ends in bitter disappointment.

Desperate, she flees the farm and lands in the deepest forest, where she meets the wild boar Parcival. Both fall in love. They spend wonderful days together in the forest. But Josephine again experiences what it means to be different. Again she is cast out...

When Farmer Kruse and hunter Spies appear in the forest to turn the wild boars into "tasty sausages," Josephine finds her courage: "... the fortune of the brave!"

A fable told as narrative theatre with figures and music.
