Saxon Wine and Wine Elixirs - Based on Recipes by Hildegard von Bingen

A herb-wine walk through the Radebeul vineyards, led by garden therapist and naturopath Tanja Prohl and winemaker Thomas Teubert. The tour combines a guided wine tasting with the world of medicinal herbs following the recipes of Hildegard von Bingen.

In the vineyard, guests sample 5 different Saxon grape varieties and 5 herbal elixirs made from wine, honey and herbs according to Hildegard's recipes - depending on the season, tasted right beside the relevant plants. Along the way, participants learn about healthy living, medicinal herbs and the natural lifestyle philosophy of Radebeul naturopath Friedrich Eduard Bilz.

The route passes through the demonstration and teaching garden featuring the wild flora of dry habitats at the electoral wine estate Hoflößnitz. Bachelor parties please enquire separately.
