Carmina Burana

Carl Orff's monumental cantata Carmina Burana takes the stage on 3 July 2026 (Friday) at 21:00 in the courtyard of Schloss Ettlingen. The Baroque palace in the city centre, built in the 18th century on medieval foundations, becomes the setting for a spectacular open-air performance. Over 100 singers from civic and children's choirs, soloists, and a chamber orchestra will perform this masterwork, which unfolds its full emotional power in the evening atmosphere beneath the open sky. Ettlingen is one of nine German dates for this production, which will also visit Dresden, Nuremberg, Munich, Berlin, and Braunschweig in 2026 and 2027.
