This year's Lied competition final focuses on Scandinavian music. The finalists present selected works from the art song repertoire, each showcasing their individual artistic profiles. The audience will also hear a commissioned work by Swedish composer Tebogo Monnakgotla, performed by all competition participants.

The DEBUT Lieder prizes will be awarded during the evening.

About the venue: Tauberphilharmonie Weikersheim

The Tauberphilharmonie is a modern concert hall in Weikersheim, opened in 2014 on the banks of the Tauber river. With around 820 seats, it serves as the main venue for the Jeunesses Musicales Deutschland and hosts classical concerts, chamber music, and youth music events throughout the year.
