This year's Lied competition final focuses on Scandinavian music. The finalists present selected works from the art song repertoire, showcasing their individual artistic profiles. The audience will also hear a commissioned composition by Swedish composer Tebogo Monnakgotla, which all participants will perform.

The DEBUT Liedpreise awards are presented during the evening.

About the venue: Tauberphilharmonie Weikersheim

The Tauberphilharmonie is a modern concert hall in Weikersheim, opened in 2014 on the banks of the Tauber river. With around 820 seats, it serves as the main venue for the Jeunesses Musicales Deutschland and hosts classical concerts, chamber music, and youth music events throughout the year. The building's striking contemporary architecture contrasts with the historic Renaissance town surrounding it.
