PEOPLE. MOMENTS. ADVENTURE.
100,000 kilometers of freedom on two wheels

"Dreams are meant to be lived - you just have to remember them." Martin Leonhardt takes this literally. He quits his job, sells nearly all his possessions, and trades security for freedom. Together with his motorcycle "Katze," he sets out on a journey with no schedule, no fixed destination, and no idea when he'll return.

What follows are 100,000 kilometers filled with adventure, challenges, and unforgettable encounters. For over three and a half years, Martin travels across South America - driven by curiosity, spontaneity, and a desire to truly get to know people and their worlds. He crosses the Atacama Desert, climbs the highlands of Bolivia, experiences the vast expanse of Patagonia, immerses himself in the wilderness of the Pantanal, and follows rivers and trails deep into the Amazon basin.

But the true highlights of his journey are the people. Martin visits remote villages, spends hundreds of nights in the open air, is spontaneously invited in, helps out, listens, and becomes part of stories you won't find in any guidebook. Strangers become friends, chance encounters become lifelong memories.
