"Amphi" is a performance in public space that confronts fascist forces of the past and present. Its starting point is a dance piece by choreographer Noa Eshkol, created in 1953 to commemorate the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. Omer Krieger translates the original work into the present day.

For Dresden, he has developed a new version that unfolds between two historically charged sites: the former Nazi rally terrace on the Elbe and the Festspielhaus Hellerau, which served as a police school from 1938 to 1945. Over two days, "Amphi II" moves between commemorative dance and public action - asking what collective remembrance can look like today.
