Description was written before the event

Musical-comedy by Dan Goggin
German adaptation by Markus Weber and Thomas Woitkewitsch
Revised new version by Benjamin Baumann

The musical "Non(n)sens" is hugely popular on theatre stages worldwide - a perfect blend of singing and comedy that promises heavenly entertainment. Five nuns give free rein to their musical and dancing talents. They have organised a charity gala to finance the funeral of their sister in the convent, who died from fish soup. The nuns pull out all the stops to fill the convent's coffers.

With over 8,000 productions worldwide and translated into 21 languages, this musical is a true international phenomenon, featuring wild solo numbers, tap dancing and ballet sequences. American author, composer and former convent school pupil Dan Goggin created an artistic tribute to five real nuns and crafted a global musical hit. The five-woman piece has won numerous awards, including the "Outer Critics Circle Award" for best musical, best book and best music.

Fancy a hilarious show with brilliant live music? Head to Röttingen. "Non(n)sens" is witty, fast-paced and absurd. That's why musical and comedy fans rightly say: The Show must go Nonn! Hallelujah!
